Workflow Feature in Episode Simplifies Encoding

Workflow feature in Episode simplifies encoding.  The workflow section is nice because if you’re planning on doing several encoding tasks this area provides a great way to remember your compression jobs.  Workflows are just a drag and drop away within Episode 6.  You can save encoding tasks of multiple file and multiple presets along with desired output destinations.  If you still are using a previous version of Episode make sure you upgrade so you can get the new workflow feature.  It’s well worth it.

Wowza Media Server Powers Roku Channels

Wowza Media Server powers Roku channels and this is an exciting development for content providers that desire to deliver their video or audio content via the set-top box. Roku media providers can deliver their channel as On-demand content or as a Live Streaming channel.  This is yet another great ‘feather in the cap’ for Wowza Media Systems whose server is used to host so many different flavors on content. If you’d like to see how a channel works with Roku, go out and purchase one of the Roku set-top boxes to explorer the possibilities. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
