1. nDVR Set-up

With Wowza you can provide Lives Streams and allow your viewers to be able control playback of the streams in a DVR-like manner. Therefore, users can watch a portion of a Live Stream even if part of the stream has already played. This training module will show attendees how to configure nDVR set-up for this purpose. This gives you DVR capabilities with Wowza Streaming Engine and records and caches streams. You’ll learn how to configure nDVR, how to set-up you application, where to record Live streams and how to configure playback for computers and devices.

2. Wowza Transcoder Set-up

Today, many users implementing Wowza Streaming Engine need a way to delivery Live Streams with multiple data rates for Adaptive Streaming. Wowza Transcoder allows you to do this. This module in this class will teach you how to set up and configure your Wowza Streaming Engine for Live Trancoding server-side. You’ll learn about the option to convert from MPEG-4 or MPEG-2 to a format such as H.264, which is supported with the server. You’ll also learn how to encode from H.264 and to delivery several Live streams with various data rates in H.264. This section of the training will also teach you how to adjust the various encoding settings with your Wowza encoding templates.

3. Live Origin and Live Stream Repeater Set-up

Learn how to set up an Origin Server and Live Stream Repeater with Wowza Streaming Engine. Our instructor will teach you how to easily configure your Origin and Edge servers to take advantage of the same Live Stream. This allows you to only send one Live stream to the Wowza Streaming Engine.

4. Creating TV Channel Style Streaming

With Wowza you can create 24/7 Live Streaming Channels using a playlist of videos server-side. Get familiar with the process for making these types of channels using encoded on-demand video content. This content can be scheduled at will for playback at a specific time. In this portion of training, you’ll learn how to encode your content and what items to configure in your playlist. In addition, the instructor will teach students how to configure other items needed to implement 24/7 TV Channel Style Streaming.

5. Live Streaming with Wowza GoCoder

In this Advanced Wowza Streaming Engine Training module you’ll learn how to encode your Live Streams from iOS and Android devices using the Wowza GoCoder. This allows users to be able to record Live Streams while they are mobile and on-the-go.
