Datasat Technologies and Network Foundation Technologies Announce Strategic Alliance

Datasat Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce their strategic alliance with Network Foundation Technologies (NiFTy).Working together, the companies plan to further develop high-speed broadband technologies and the delivery of video content.

“High-speed broadband is the future and we are in the right place at the right time,” stated Chris Thomas, President and CEO of Datasat Technologies. Utilizing wireless 802.11n technology, Datasat Technologies’ suite of products allows for high definition video content delivery, providing new solutions for interactive media and live streaming events.

NiFTy provides complete end-to-end online broadcasting services with a patented technology that is optimized for live and long-play content.

Datasat Technologies and NiFTy both currently offer technology systems that are scalable and cost effective.

NiFTy was the first and only broadcaster to offer live broadcasting for professional sports leagues, that included all games, all teams, for entire seasons, completely Free-For-View to the viewer. Earlier this month, NiFTy announced their renewed partnership with the Arena Football League to air the 2010 season on the AFL Live online broadcast network, beginning April 2nd. And most recently, NiFTy received the Governor’s Award for Technology Company of the Year by the Louisiana Technology Council in recognition of the company’s advanced technology applications.

The Datasat Technologies’ solution allows for the reliable, high-speed delivery of digital communications using 802.11n wifi technology to deliver – broadband internet, cellular telephony and interactive media. The entrepreneur behind Datasat Technologies, Phil Emmel, also established Datasat Communications, a global leader in satellite network solutions.
