What’s important these days is that it support Flash Live Streaming via the On2 VP6 codec and the H.264 codec.  For Flash Streaming, the Live Encoder supports both RTSP  and RTMP protocols for streaming. In addition the TouchStream is portable so it’s great for Live Webcasting on location and out in the field.
