Flowplayer Flash Player Great Choice for Streaming

Posted by Derrick on November 3, 2010 under Video Streaming and Compression | Be the First to Comment

Flowplayer Flash Player is a great choice for streaming.  This is another excellent option for those that want to deliver Live Streaming and On-demand in the Flash flavor.  If you want to create superior expeiences with Flash Streaming then Flowplayer is the way to do it. Flowplayer also has some wonderful  plug-ins that support the following:

  • iPad and iPhone
  • RTMP
  • Bandwidth Detection
  • Secure Streaming
  • YouTube
  • Captions
  • Analytics
  • Pseudostreaming
  • Embed
  • Viral Videos

Flowplayer supports even more options than what’s listed here. What I like about Flowplayer is it supports automatic detection of Live Streams.  So, if a stream is interrupted and disconnected it will automatically be detected again once the Live Stream starts again.  This will happen even without the user having to refresh the browser.  There’s no doubt that Flowplayer is a great choice for streaming.
