Using Compression Filters in Squeeze Desktop is great way to manipulate your video and have the encoded output improved, enhanced, or corrected. Filters are the topic in part 7 of our “Encoding with Squeeze Desktop Series”. Many times you may want to use a filter to adjust the color of a video or to remove interlacing to make the media file progressive.

In addition to adjusting color or deinterlacing videos, you can do the following Squeeze:

  • Adjust brightness
  • Adjust contrast
  • Fade video
  • Crop video
  • Include a watermark
  • Reduce video noise
  • Adjust audio volume
  • Fade Audio
  • Adjust audio sync

These are just some of the tasks that can be performed.
