1 Hour On-line Training Modules

1 hour On-line Training Modules are now available at Freeman Compression Inc. Many individuals have streaming and compression projects that they’re working on a need some assistance. These short sessions save time and allow you to get your projects going quicker without sitting in on one of our full day training classes.
Just purchase the 1 hour training that you’re interested in and we’ll contact you to schedule your session. For your training session we’ll provide an instructor that will walk you through the training module you purchase. We’ll use GoToMeeting and Skype for the training session. GoToMeeting will be used for screen sharing and Skype will be used for communicating by voice. Make sure you have a USB Headset before your training session. All training session are with a Live instructor.
Here are the 1 hour On-line Training Modules available:
Looping Playlist Set-up using JW Player and Wowza Media Server 2 (1 hour session)
Training Overview: In this 1 hour training session your instructor will teach you how to set up a client-side playlist using JW Player for Flash and Wowza Media Server 2. You’ll learn how to include your desired videos in your playlist, set-up your .XML file and and author your HTML web page.
Cost: $150
Items needed: Wowza Media Server 2 and JW Player for Flash

Multi-bitrate On-demand Streaming Set-up for iPhone (1 hour session)
Training Overview: In this 1 hour training session your instructor will teach you how to set up Multi-bitrate On-demand Streaming for the iPhone using Wowza Media Server 2. You’ll learn what you need to do for encoding your videos for Multi-bitrate On-demand Streaming, how to set-up your playlist and where to upload your streaming videos.
Cost: $150
Items needed: Wowza Media Server 2 and an iPhone

On-demand Streaming Set-up with Amazon Cloudfront and Amazon S3 (1 hour session)
Training Overview: In this 1 hour training session your instructor will teach you how to set up On-demand Streaming using Amazon Cloudfront and Amazon S3. This learning module will teach you how to set-up your streaming on Cloudfront and connect it with your S3 bucket for On-demand Streaming.
Cost: $150

Publishing Videos to Amazon Web Services with Sorenson Squeeze 6 (1 hour session)
Training Overview: In this 1 hour training session your instructor will teach you how to encode your videos and then have them publish to your Amazon Web Services account. This session will teach you what you need to get content uploaded to your Amazon S3 bucket after encoding.
Cost: $150
Items needed: Amazon S3 and Sorenson Squeeze 6 Amazon Web Services Edition
Longtail Ad Solution Set-up for Delivery with JW Player for Flash (1 hour session)
Training Overview: In this 1 hour training session your instructor will teach you how to set up your Longtail Ad Solution account for serving video ads with JW Player. You’ll learn how to set up your channel, specify videos ads and embed your plug-in within your JW Player HTML code. You’ll also learn about proper sizing for video ads using Ad Solution.
Cost: $150

Sorenson Squeeze Overview (1 hour session)
Training Overview: This 1 hour training session will provide you with a good overview of Sorenson Squeeze. Your instructor will describe the various items within Squeeze and show you how to set-up Batch Encoding and Watch Folder Encoding. This is a good training module to get you going quickly with Sorenson Squeeze.
Cost: $150
Items needed: Sorenson Squeeze version 4.5.6, 5 or 6
Sawmill Professional Overview (1 hour session)
Training Overview: This 1 hour training session will provide you with a good overview of Sawmill Professional. Your instructor will describe the various items within Sawmill Professional and get you familiar with processing log files. This is a good training module to get you up and running with Sawmill Professional.
Cost: $150

iPhone Streaming Set-up with Wowza Media Server 2 (1 hour session)
Training Overview: In this 1 hour training session your instructor will teach you how to set up iPhone Streaming with Wowza Media Server 2. You’ll learn how to set-up your iPhone Streaming application, encode your videos and create a link for delivering video to the iPhone.
Cost: $150
