DVR Support Available with Wowza Media Server 3

DVR support is now available with Wowza Media Server 3.  For those users that currently have Wowza Media Server 2 they can learn how to use the Wowza nDVR AddOn by attending one of our 1-Day Wowza Media Server Trainings or Wowza Media Server 3 Overview Training classes.  The Wowza Overview Training class is designed for our students that have already attended one of our Wowza 2 classes and need to only learn about the new Wowza 3 features and the process for upgrading their server. The DVR feature within Wowza can be used during Live Streaming and allows users to rewind a Live Stream.  The Wowza nDVR AddOn is available for purchase from Wowza Media Systems.

Class On-demand Coming Soon. In the second quarter of 2011 Freeman Compression will have options where you can take training classes at your own pace with our Class on Demand option. Stay tuned for more details. This option will allow you to take classes without an instructor own your own schedule. The Class on Demand option will give you the ability to review the various video streaming and compression training modules via a video file provided for the class.
