Free Wirecast and Episode Encoder Pro Training takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday, April 10, 2010. The training will take place at the Courtyard Las Vegas Convention Center. Apple QuickTime Streaming Server is great for streaming to mobile devices. When it comes to Real-time Streaming using the RTSP protocol this streaming server is a great choice. Since you can stream on HTTP Port 80 this makes the playback much easier on most smartphones that support streaming video. With the QuickTime Streaming Server you can call .3gp or .3g2 videos up via an RTSP URL. Just add a hyperlink when you’re authoring your web pages to throw the video you want to the appropriate media player. An added benefit of using Apple’s QuickTime Streaming Server is you can create 24/7 channels for streaming as well.

JW Player and Flowplayer Flash Video Players Work with Joomla. This is great is you’re looking to use either player to author your Flash Streaming video content. Both JW Player and Flowplayer work well with authoring On-demand and Live Streaming streaming videos. Both players have free versions as well as commercial versions. Make sure you check the JW Player and Flowplayer websites for details on the free and commercial versions of the players.
