Use the live-record Stream Type for Recording Live Streaming with Wowza.  This is a method of recording that you’ll use if you’d like to have your Live Streaming events recorded server side.  Now if you’re using a Live Encoding tool such as Wirecast you can do the recordings directly on your Live Encoder.  However, recording server side is better because you don’t have to upload your Live Streaming recordings to your Wowza Media Server 2 later.

If you’d like to get a  better understanding of  the live-record Stream Type for Wowza Media Server 2 attend one of our  1-Day Wowza Media Server 2 Training classes.  Call Freeman Compression Inc. at 407.477.5837 for more information or E-mail us at info@freemancompression.com. Our On-line trainings are also open to international students.
