You can utilize Sorenson Squeeze Desktop to replace Episode Encoding Workflows. As of January 31, 2018, Telestream ended development, sales, and support for all Episode Products. I’ve enjoyed using Episode over the years, and I really hate to see it go. If you like having Desktop encoding available for your video and media projects, Squeeze Desktop is another popular product that will likely serve your file conversion needs. Squeeze encoding products have been a part of my encoding arsenal since 2003, starting with Sorenson Squeeze 3 Compression Suite. Sorenson Media’s desktop products have always been extremely reliable.
Squeeze Desktop can assist you with various encoding workflows with output to the following codecs: HEVC/H.265, VP9, H.264, ProRes, JPEG2000, Avid DNxHD, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO HD, and VC-1. There are also many other formats supported as well options for encoding to adaptive bit rates.
If you’re interested in learning more about video encoding or compression with Squeeze Desktop, attend our 2-Day Video Streaming and Compression Training or our 1-Day Video Encoding Training On-line or On-site. You can call Freeman Compression Inc. at 407.797.5466 or e-mail us at email@example.com for more information. Contact us about training times for other countries if you are an international student. Our company can also provide a consultant for your project needs if you’d rather have someone set up your encoding and streaming workflows.
